Neurologist Las Vegas, NV

We are looking for a Neurologist to join our practice in Las Vegas, NV. We are seeking a physician Board Certified in Neurology preferably with electrodiagnostic or Sleep medicine board certification to join our team part time, 1-2 days per week for a total of 8-12 shifts per month. This position is outpatient based with no on-call or hospital coverage within our multidisciplinary medical clinic. Our support staff maintains/inputs all subjective elements of the chart, vitals, and routine tests, which is complete prior to the exam so that the incoming physician can concentrate on the exam, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment plan.

Scope/Setting:

  • Neurology: General Neurology, Sleep medicine- Insomnia & Sleep Apnea, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Electrophysiology, and Epilepsy
  • Studies, EEG & VEEG, Cognitive & Memory Testing, EMG, NCV tests, and Botox
  • Clinical Staff/MA will start patient engagement. Histories, Problems, Medication Lists, ROS, and HPIs are done prior to seeing the provider. All subjective elements of the chart, vitals and routine tests are completed by supporting staff
  • Utilize the EHR System
  • Pharmacy, records, and authorization support provided by staff members
  • Physician will concentrate on the exam and A&P

Requirements:

  • Physician BCBE in Neurology
  • Medical license in NV
  • Electrodiagnostic or Sleep medicine board certification preferred
  • Experience with workers' comp or personal injury patients preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Medicare/Medicaid number preferred

Schedule:

  • Part-time, 1-2 days per week (8-12 shifts a month)

Salary (range):

  • $180-200/hr (DOE and training)
