Academic Neurohospitalist opportunity in Houston in the unique Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world! The hospital is this highly regarded hospital system's flagship facility of over 1000 beds. The hospital is ranked #1 in Texas, and 15th Nationally, and it is ranked #15 for Neurology and Neurosurgery by US News.

This position is open to candidates who are fellowship trained in Neurohospitalist care, Neurologists Fellowship trained in Stroke or Vascular, or Neurologists who have been intensely trained in hospital care during residency, or with experience. The appropriate candidate will have a passion for teaching, providing excellent clinical care, and doing research. In the future, clinical trials may be incorporated into the practice. Tele-stroke program and Stroke Team provides coverage 24/7 for acute patients. This is a consultative position and does not include acute stroke call. You will have residents and fellows as part of your consultative team. 7 on 7 off schedule. Daytime hours only. No nights.
