300 bed Primary Stroke Center in Houston recruiting for a Vascular Neurologist. The hospital is working towards Comprehensive Stroke designation. There could be a Directorship opportunity. They have 2 employed Neurologists there now one does emg and botox the other does epilepsy. The position would be in pt and outpt but they expect the position to evolve as the vascular and stroke component matures. Call is now 1-4. Telestroke service is in place.

Additional opportunity at another hospital in Houston for a modified neurohospitalist position. The schedule is 8-5 M-F. After hours is covered by a Telestroke program. Outpatient is optional. There are two employed Neurologists doing outpatient and consults. Stroke Gold Plus Accredited. You would be the Director of Stroke Program.
