Pediatric Neurologist needed for Growing Practice at
Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida!

Located near the beaches of Southwest Florida is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 134 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services to take care of all of our community’s children from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has plans to expand to be a pediatric trauma center, and has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU with 24-hour in house Neonatology coverage.

The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group (LPG) – Pediatric Neurology is seeking a BE/BC full-time Pediatric Neurologist for its busy and growing Fort Myers based practice. Current practice has four full-time physicians. Physicians see, on average, 12-18 patients per day. Due to sheer growth and demand, the new physician can expect to build a practice quickly. Pediatric Neurology works collaboratively and is housed with several additional specialties: Developmental Pediatrics, Pediatric Psychiatry and Pediatric Psychology. The position is outpatient based but involves inpatient call coverage, a 1:5 call.

Experience with epilepsy is preferred but not required. New grads are welcome to apply.
