Children’s Hospital of Michigan is currently seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Neurologist for an excellent full-time opportunity. The Division of Child Neurology is ranked among America’s Best in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2017-2018 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings and has ranked in the top 50 programs in the nation for the past 7 years.

Due to a large community need, the Division is seeking an additional Pediatric Neurologist. The position will consist of outpatient, inpatient, and teaching responsibilities. Weekday call will be when rounding on inpatient service only and weekend call is 1:10. Academic responsibilities include teaching medical students, pediatric residents, pediatric neurology residents, EEG fellows, and adult neurology residents.

The group consists of 10 clinical faculty members with expertise in headache, epilepsy including ketogenic diet, neuromuscular medicine, sleep medicine, neuro-genetics, auto-immune diseases and autism. The division has outstanding neurosurgical support, 4 dedicated pediatric neuro-radiologists, and close academic collaboration with the highly reputable adult neurology department. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a very collegial group with opportunities to be mentored by senior physicians.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in neurology with special qualification in child neurology. Must be eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Michigan. An interest and/or training in neonatal neurology, movement disorders, or fetal neurology is a plus.
