Neurointensivist Director
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, a nonprofit academic health system serving Northern, New England with a service area of over 1.9 million in Lebanon, NH, seeks a Neurointensivist to lead its new Neurocritical Care service. Working alongside nationally recognized Neurologists and Neurosurgeons, you will be the leader in establishing this new service.

Practice:
  • You will institute protocols for the service, directly communicate with the Chair of Neurology, and participate in additional physician and advanced practitioner recruitment efforts
  • The new program will boast a state-of-the-art Neuro ICU
  • The Neurocritical Care service will be located in a newly renovated, 10-bed unit
  • 24/7 Neuro Interventional Program and EEG service available
  • You will be recommended for a faculty appointment at The Geisel School of Medicine affording you an opportunity to teach multiple specialties
  • Establishment of a Neurocritical Care Fellowship Program is desired
  • Dartmouth-Hitchcock employs more than 20 Neurologists in all sub-specialty areas
  • The Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center and is the tertiary referral center for Northern New England
