Job Description

Last Update: 2/25/19
We have a busy four-physician practice seeking a motivated and personable nephrologist to join us. Our practice has been serving the community and surrounding area for nearly 30 years. During this time we have maintained being the only renal care provider in the area, built a strong referral base and reputation for quality care and outcomes with our patients. From a practice environment perspective we have an easy-going approach despite our busy schedules, we are supportive of one another and are transparent with one another about patients and most everything else. Balancing work and personal time is of high importance, but so is having fun. Right? Who has fun while working – we do.

Our office is five minutes from the single hospital and the majority of our dialysis centers are short commutes. Weekly rotating schedules allow us to share in the care of patients are centers further away but also get us home by early afternoon.

Enjoy the small town feel of a community that isn’t so small. Affordable housing, low crime rates and excellent educational options for children and young adults are some of the great things our city has to offer. A mere 50 miles from Kansas City, with the international airport in between puts on the outer edge of a major metropolitan location. Practically a suburb. There are some suburbs that could be commutable but we think you will appreciate all our city has to offer and becoming a part of the community you will serve.

We are seeking a candidate that is motivated, personable and has a desire to make a long-term commitment to our practice and community. With succession planning in motion the new physician must be interested in being a partner and business owner. The successful candidate will enjoy a generous salary guarantee for two years, partnership and many other benefits, including – health insurance, malpractice provided, paid time off, pension plan with practice contributions and the potential for a sign on bonus and loan repayment. Partnership is offered with minimal buy-in, additional paid time off and an equal share of all patient revenue and medical directorship income.
