We currently have a kidney only transplantation program with plans to expand into pancreas transplantation in the near future. Our program follows a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities and Core Duties include:

  • Potential recipient and donor candidate medical evaluations
  • Pre-transplant, waitlist, and donor medical reviews and management
  • Long term post-transplant care and immunosuppression monitoring
  • Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Participation in Quality Assurance and Performance Committees
  • Attend and participate in the evaluation of potential donors/recipients as well as established transplant recipients at various satellite clinics in the NH/VT catchment area
  • Provide educational sessions for staff, residents and fellows as well as referring physicians
  • Daily in-patient rounding
  • Shared evening and weekend for medical transplant related problems
  • Provide leadership, training and education for medical students, surgical and medicine residents, as well as nephrology fellows
