COMPANY PROFILE:
This organization was founded in 2013 by well-established New York physicians who wanted to respond to the changing healthcare environment. Today, the practice encompasses more than 200 employees and 50 medical providers. They operate 12 clinics throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. In addition to a robust primary care service line, the organization offers cardiology, physiatry/PM&R, pediatrics, nephrology, ENT, neurology, and hematology/oncology. They are currently seeking new providers due to growth and expanding service lines.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new nephrologist will see a variable and manageable number of patients per day, depending upon the type of appointment scheduled.
The duties will include general outpatient nephrology care.
The clinics use the MDLand EHR.
There are no on-call requirements.
The practice sees a high number of Chinese-speaking patients and the new provider must be bilingual.
This is a new position for an expanded service line and the details of the role are flexible. The physician owners are seeking a great fit who will be with the practice long-term and they are happy to collaborate on a job description and compensation package that is mutually agreeable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Nephrology
- must speak a Chinese language/dialect fluently
