COMPANY PROFILE:
Since 2006, this nephrology practice has been caring for patients in its clinic, as well as local hospitals and dialysis units. They currently employ 4 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners/physician assistants, who are supported by a dedicated team of 16 individuals. They are seeking a new provider to join their team due to growth.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This practice is looking for a long-term fit and are happy to offer a partnership option, if the physician would desire that type of arrangement.

The practice sees patients in their nephrology clinic in Fountain Valley, as well as in hospitals and dialysis units throughout Central Orange County, from Anaheim to Irvine.

The new physician will work a 9:00am to 5:00pm shift in the clinic three (3) days per week. They will visit various hospitals and dialysis units within the service area the other (2) days per week.

Each Monday morning, the practice's physicians meet at the clinic to collaboratively create the rounding schedule for all hospitals and dialysis units. The practice serves 12 sites throughout Central Orange County.

The position does require occasional, short weekend shifts and some light on-call duties (volume is minimal).

All services are within general nephrology and physicians see no more than 20 patients per day in any setting. There are always clinical assistants available.

The practice uses an EHR in all settings.


REQUIREMENTS:
- California medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified, Nephrology
- fluency in Mandarin strongly preferred
- residents are welcome to apply, pending passing boards
