Locum opportunity for a board certified Neonatologist to provide coverage in upstate New York. Coverage is needed as soon as possible, pending expedited privileges. Average daily census is 5. ADC 6-8 (up to a dozen or more). We provide coverage for all sections and problem deliveries, occasional consults. Sicker babies transferred to Level 3 or 4, we use CPAP, HFNC, and short term ventilation. EMR is Allscripts for orders, notes are in Babysteps, OBIX for nursing notes. Coverage is one week on, one week off, 24 hour days. Nights and evenings generally quiet, unless unplanned delivery or sick baby. You will have an apartment-like call room in the hospital, or ICs sometimes stay in nearby (5 min by car) hotel. We will cover Malpractice (A rated), travel, and lodging. JOB ID#
