Locum opportunity for a board certified Neonatologist to provide coverage in Northeast Texas. Coverage is needed for November or as soon as possible pending expedited privileges. This is a level 3 NICU. Average daily census is 9. The NICU takes care of preemies and term babies with mechanical ventilation, Nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation, and total body cooling. Call is from the hotel with one other neonatologist with a maximum 30 minute response time. NNP’s provide in-house call. We would like one provider to cover that whole stretch for continuity of care. We will cover Malpractice (A rated), travel, and lodging.
