Seeking Neonatologist to join our Level II/III NICU family in Phoenix, AZ!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a Neonatologist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. Our group provides Neonatology services at 8-facilities with both Level II and Level III NICUs throughout the Phoenix market. All but one of the units have 24/7 NNP coverage, and the team embraces a collaborative approach to care with the Neo and NNP working together. Engagement at the facility and within the team as well as participation with quality improvement projects and potential for leadership growth are strongly encouraged.

• Off 4-5 months per year!
• All call is from home with in-house NNP support at 7 out of 8 facilities
• Innovative implementation of tele-medicine decreases driving and improves communication at two facilities

Opportunity Details: ​

• Staffing Model: 9 Neonatologists/40 APPs
• Team dynamic is collaborative and collegial with a strong focus on quality, education, stewardship, and team engagement.
• Balanced academic feel with evidence based practice guidelines, journal clubs, QI projects with poster submissions, and opportunity for research, supported by National Quality and Safety Structure.
• Hospitals:
  • 1: level 3B (any GA, in-house surgery, ENT, all pediatric subspecialists, cooling, HFOV/HFJV, nitric oxide); two in house NNP’s 24/7
  • 2: level 3A (28+ weeks, conventional vent); in house NNP 24/7
  • 4: level 2 (32+ weeks, HFNC/CPAP); in house NNP 24/7
  • 1: level 2 (35+ weeks); 12hour day NNP, MD or NNP on call at night
• Schedule:
  • One week off every three weeks with emphasis on continuity of care and work-life balance.
  • Work on average less than 1 out of 2 weekends
  • Neos round during the day with NNP’s
  • Call from home at night with in-house NNP support
  • Strong support and stability in current facilities, with recent growth in Phoenix and Tucson
