Clinic, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join a rapidly expanding service line at our 14 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Health System sees nearly 1900 deliveries each year and averages 400 NICU admissions. Currently the NICU cares for inborn and outborn non-surgical infants ≥28wks/1000g, with services including CPAP, conventional mechanical ventilation, NIPPV, iNO, and total body cooling. The candidate will join Neonatologist, NNP and a team of experienced NICU nurses, designated RTs, Nutritionists, Pharmacists and Developmental Therapists.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in procedural skills, including delivery room resuscitation; and be committed to building a culture of respect, safety and learning in the department. Expectations include supervision of NNP, participation in daily rounds, perinatal and newborn consults, procedures expected in the NICU, and Family Practice Resident education. Opportunities exist for additional shifts, assisting in program development, staff and outreach education, and on-going service line growth.
