Director of Anatomic Pathology Physician in Oklahoma
StartDate: ASAP

The University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine’s Department of Pathology is seeking a Director of Anatomic Pathology to continue the history of excellence in diagnostics, research, and teaching. The incoming faculty member will lead a team with multiple opportunities to conduct collaborative or independent clinical and translational research. In addition, this position provides a unique balance of practice fulfillment and quality of life.

Director of Anatomic Pathology Leadership Opportunity
The successful candidate will:
  • Lead the Anatomic Pathology Division of the OU Medical System Laboratory, which serves adult and pediatric populations
  • Focus in Gynecological, Pancreatic, Head and Neck Pathology or other subspecialty area of interest
  • Fully subspecialized anatomic pathology practice- Further develop your national reputation in your area of expertise
  • Join a collegial department with a very supportive chair
  • Conduct collaborative or independent clinical and translational research
  • Work with the department’s seven PhD principal investigators in cancer biology and nanotechnology
  • Be part of the rapidly expanding Stephenson Cancer Center
  • Teach medical students, pathology residents, and fellows
