A child/adolescent psychiatrist with a medical directorship is needed at a hospital in Indiana. The medical director duties include supervision of medical staff on day-to-day operations, ongoing professional practice evaluation, focused professional practice evaluation, regulatory compliance, oversight of NPs, and oversight of IOP and telepsychiatry services. The general psychiatry duties will include admissions, daily care of assigned patients, treatment team leadership, and day time call. You will work Monday through Friday with weeknight telephone call, no weekend call is required. You will see adults and some child/adolescent cases.

They offer a competitive salary negotiated figure based upon candidate credentials, training, scope of work, and experience. You will also receive a medical director stipend, productivity bonus potential, full medical/dental/vision benefits plan, a sign-on bonus, malpractice insurance, PTO, relocation allowance, CME time and financial assistance, and a 401(k). An independent contractor arrangement can be considered as well.
