The Position:

• Assist with program development and promotion through public events to grow the new service line
• Collaborate with the Nursing Director and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and DNV
• Provide a minimum of 20 hours per week in the IRF and conduct at least 3 face-to-face visits per week with all IRF patients
• The physician may also maintain their own office practice and see outpatients in clinic as appropriate in their area of specialty
• Typical hours: 8-5, Monday – Friday
• No call, the hospital handles all call duties

The Qualifications:

• Must be BE/BC in PM&R
• 2+ years post-residency/fellowship
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Patient-centered commitment to excellence
• Previous leadership experience preferred

The Rewards:

• 2 year guaranteed base compensation of $300,000 - $320,000.
• Sign-on Bonus of $100,000 paid out over the duration of contract
