Responsibilities:

PAGNY/Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY is recruiting for a full time Chief CRNA.

The Department of Anesthesiology at Coney Island Hospital is a vibrant and dynamic team of driven and talented Anesthesiologists and CRNAs providing comprehensive peri-operative anesthesia services to all surgical subspecialties, including Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Pediatric and Thoracic Surgery, with busy General Surgery, GYN Surgery and more. Our L&D Suite is a state-of the art unit with fully renovated private delivery rooms and a dedicated OR Suite.

Our Department is currently comprised of 15 staff Anesthesiologists. We practice an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating perioperative process, in close friendly collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff. Our Department is armed with all required modern equipment for the safest practice of Anesthesia, including Video-Laryngoscopy, 2 SonoSite Ultrasound Machines for Vascular Cannulation and Regional Anesthesia, 2 Ambu FOB Systems with disposal scopes used in Thoracic Anesthesia and Difficult Airway management, FloTrack System for intraoperative hemodynamic management, AccuView vein finding system, etc. The Department of Anesthesiology is a great group of purpose-driven collaborators and friends, supporting each other and contributing to making Coney Island Hospital a premier surgical center in Brooklyn.

We are looking for a Board Certified CRNA with a strong work ethic, team spirit and dynamic personality. Active NYS license in good standing or the ability to obtain a NYS license is required.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a current NYS RN License and Registration, BSN, and MSN.

  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, multitasking and oral/written communication skills will also be expected.
