Job Description

The primary focus of the Primary Care Medical Director is to act as a clinical leader by providing strategic vision, directly supervising medical providers, students and residents, and improving the overall quality of clinical services.

Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Support and care for patients receiving mediation assisted treatment
• Analyze and interpret patient history, symptoms, physical findings, and/or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
• Maintain complete and detailed records of patients’ history, assessment, and health care plans
• Perform routine or annual physical examinations, including routine lab tests
• Diagnose and treat illness and injury
• Transitional treatment of patients receiving medially assisted treatment for substance use disorder for primary care conditions
• Arrangements for preventive immunizations and management of patient’s chronic disease

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
• Current California state license and registration
• DEA certificate
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• 3+ years’ clinical experience in clinic setting preferred
