Job Details :

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the rural training track (RTT) program.
• Coordinates, collaborate and communicate effectively with the RTT program director
• Direct administrative involvement and formal and informal relationship building with paid and volunteer faculty, staff, and community members regarding resident tracking and the rural training track program.
• Chairs local faculty meetings
• Participates in RTT Program Evaluation Committee meetings, RTT Clinical Competency Committee meetings and administrative meetings as necessary, including via phone conference at residency’s quarterly graduate medical education committee.
• Responsibilities in faculty development and tracking of rural training track intern progress or any RTT resident plan for improvement.
• Local physician leadership for medical students interested in the rural training track, the resident matching process, and associated interview days.
• Ensures implementation of curriculum, local didactic program, and ongoing academic performance improvement and faculty development.
• Administrative oversight for resident evaluations, resident feedback, and program improvement between the core family medicine residency program and rural training track.
• Participation in the annual Idaho rural training track summit.
• Assist in data collection on residents, the rural training track program and hospital data for resident monitoring, internal resident documentation and program accreditation.
