The successful applicant will provide medical directorship over the Lee Physician Group employed hospital program. In this position, the physician will have oversite over hospitalists at four acute care hospitals. The Physician is responsible for the quality of treatment, patient experience and appropriate utilization of resources to hospital patients. This physician will develop and maintain relationships with administration, employees, medical staff, contracted and referring physicians.

The successful candidate:
Hospital Medicine Leadership —minimum of 2 years leadership experience
70% Administrative, 30% Clinical
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Possess a valid Medical License to practice in the State of Florida
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and highly effective communication skills
