Psychiatrist needed as a Medical Director for the inpatient service line focused on patients a reputable behavioral health system:

• This is 100% inpatient position based at a behavioral health facility/hospital
• This position focuses on the short term unit - 29 beds, would carry patient load of 8
• Small fraction of time covering ER in the afternoon
• Standard business hours, no weekends, no on-call
• Work on utilization management and quality improvement projects with senior leadership
• Opportunity for moonlighting and per diem for additional compensation
• See patients with all ranges of psychiatric conditions, acute and chronic
• Organization offers full range of programs: outpatient, inpatient, child and adolescent, addiction services, DBT, PHP, residential and family services.
• Complex care team with strong team of doctors, nursing staff, clinical support.
