A large heath system in North Carolina seeking a medical director. They are seeking leadership candidates who like practicing with a team approach model similar to that of an inpatient psychiatric facility, yet have the autonomy to manage their practice and would like to have strategic participation. You will work in collaboration with other leaders. You will oversee four psychiatrists and four APPs in the consult liaison team. The incoming medical director will do patient/clinical care in some capacity. They welcome board certified and board eligible physicians, and no fellowship is required.

This employed position offers competitive base salary with consistent incentive potential. You will also receive medical/dental benefits, life insurance, licensure/board certification fees covered, vacation time, relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, generous CME allotment and allowance, a 403b with matching, and paid malpractice coverage.
