Seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician who is interested in teaching residents and being a part of a brand new residency program. It is a reputable University nearby that is sponsoring this ACGME Internal Residency Program in partnership with two medical centers. This 3 year IM residency program is accredited for 60 residents. Job details:

The Associate Program Director (ADP) who joins the program leadership team will play a major role in the development of the new program by participating in the recruitment, selection, teaching, evaluation, and mentorship of their residents. The APD will also assist with the didactic curriculum, residency quality improvement/patient safety projects, and participate in applicable hospital committees. The APD will have an average of 20 hours per week to accomplish these responsibilities.

• Should have at least 2 years of experience as a faculty member. Candidates with less than 2 years of faculty experience who have extensive teaching experience as either a fellow or chief resident may be considered
