Director of Neurohospitalist - in Oregon
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

A community-based hospital with a strong academic affiliation is currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist to serve as a neurohospitalist in a consult-only role. In this role, you will provide Neurology consultations for inpatient and emergency department patients. Experience in assessing and treating acute stroke, seizures, coma and brain death and reading electroencephalogram (EEG) will be important.

  • The focus of the neurohospitalist will be on general neurology participating in consult only care for ED patients and inpatient units.
  • Leadership opportunity to serve as the Medical Director of the stroke program

  • Academic affiliation with all sub-specialty support and resources, 100% clinical, No research requirements. Opportunity to work with medical students.
