Job Description

Our client is seeking a Deputy Medical Officer to join their practice in Cerritos, California. This position is with a group that is committed to providing quality services in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and education by utilizing state-of-the-art technology to cater each care plan to their patients' specific needs. The Deputy Medical Officer reports to the Chief Medical Officer and has a primary focus of advancing the mission and values of the organization.

Details:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Treat and manage care for a culturally diverse population
  • Carryout market initiatives ensuring teams perform and meet metrics
  • Establish processes and procedures that align with the business objectives
  • Recognize, advise, and implement ongoing quality improvement endeavors to attain quality metrics, initiatives, and targets
  • Attend and assiduously participate in leadership meetings
  • Guide and counsel providers appropriately based on specific initiatives
  • Execute all mandatory evaluations
  • Collaborate with medical staff including clinical, operational, and case management leadership to attain distinctly defined metrics related to utilization, quality, and outcomes
  • Passionate about incorporating and developing new Hematologists/Oncologists

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology
  • Valid California medical license
