An exciting medical director and inpatient psychiatrist opportunity is now available in Alaska. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with an option to work 4 10-hour days. The call schedule will be determined and is compensated additionally. You will see 90 percent adults and 10 percent child and adolescent patients with mid-level support. Candidates must be board certified in adult psychiatry. No child/adolescent certification or fellowship is required, but you must be willing to see ages 13 and up. They also prefer two years of experience, but 2020 residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.

This employed opportunity is offering a salary based on experience plus WRVUs. You will be offered full comprehensive benefits, 5 days of CME and $5k, a retirement plan, relocation assistance, $30k of loan assistance over 3 years, and a sign-on bonus.

You will enjoy working 30 minutes from Anchorage, Alaska. Located in the south-central part of the state on the Cook Inlet.
