The Medicus Firm is proud to conduct a national search for a regional Chief Medical Officer for two medical centers operated by one of the most respected, private healthcare networks in the United States.

A bedroom community to one of the largest metropolitan cities in Texas, this thriving mid-sized region serves a large draw area offering a wide array of services. The larger medical center has incredible curb appeal, having built a new facility recently, and the Chief Medical Officer will continue to help align the medical staffs of the two hospitals and improve patient care, safety, and quality provided.

The institution is seeking a dynamic physician leader with the ability to connect with colleagues. Major responsibilities include:

• As a member of the executive team, the CMO oversees matters of medical care, medical staff affairs, patient safety, liability risk, and case management.
• Oversight of credentialing, quality assurance, and medical education.
• A focus on physician engagement/alignment among the medical staff and serves as the executive liaison between the medical staff and the administrative team.
• Ensures regulatory preparedness and resource utilization across all clinical departments.
