Hospital seeks a BC/BE Medical Director to lead a team in the ED . The 15-bed ED sees an annual patient volume of 25, 000. Physicians see an average of 1.9 patients per hour and use MedHost as the EMR. They provide 24 hours of Physician and APC coverage daily, and have an excellent process improvement in place with superior throughput times.
Financial: - This position offers a director stipend, signing and relocation incentives.
Facility: - An acute care hospital - Has undergone major renovations, including a new operating room, radiology department and registration area. - All modern and state of the art equipment that you would find in the larger hospitals have been installed to create the highest quality patient care possible by staff. - Construction of a new emergency room has nearly been completed, as well as, a new medical office building to accommodate the physicians.
Location: - Lexington area - 1 hour 15 minutes from Cinncinatti, OH - 1 hour 30 minutes from Louisville, KY - Internationally renowned for its legendary horse farms and beautiful countryside. - Country living at its best, yet only 15 minutes from downtown Lexington and 30 minutes from the Lexington airport.
