Job Description

The primary focus of the Stroke Medical Director is to lead the medical team that provides resuscitation, stabilization, and treatment for acute stroke patients.

• Permanent, full-time position
• 378-bed regional referral center
• Develop a thrombectomy program for acute stroke patients
• Participate in strategic planning around the care of patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Completed residency training in Neurology
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Fellowship trained in Vascular Neurology or substantial experience as a Stroke/Neurocritical Care Neurologist
• Eligible provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
• At least 3 years of previous leadership experience
• Experience performing interventional neurology procedures preferred
