Job Description

Last Update: 3/26/19

We've partnered with a rapidly growing national provider group in the search for an Associate Regional Medical Director in Columbus, OH. This organization has created a unique approach to caring for the most chronically ill and vulnerable senior patient population in your community, and offers a team-based, high touch approach that is both provider-led and patient-centered. The organization employs an interdisciplinary team composed of primary medical providers working collaboratively with employed mental health providers, social workers, pharmacists, dietitians and case managers to meet all aspects of care for their patients. Their mission is to deliver comprehensive care to patients wherever and whenever they need it, and they've successfully launched their delivery model in 10+ US markets in four short years.

The Associate Regional Medical Director is a key role as the organization expands into this new market. Reporting to the Ohio Regional Medical Director, this individual will oversee clinical operations in the region, and will serve as an ambassador to the local Medical Community as they launch their model of care in this region.

The ideal candidate should employ a hands-on approach to leadership, as he or she will carry a panel of patients in addition to overseeing and mentoring other providers. This role requires a charismatic leader with a strong clinical background, who is passionate about making an impact on the lives of vulnerable patients in your community.

  • Physician (MD or DO) required with unrestricted Ohio license
  • Leadership experience required (oversight of physicians)
  • Family Practice, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric and/or Hospice and Palliative Medicine are ideal backgrounds for this role.
