• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• BE/BC
• Medical Director for Wound Healing and HBOT program as well as Diabetes Management program
• Provides and coordinates routine and follow-up health care within the scope of practice.
• Manages care during outpatient clinic visits and supervises Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments
• Provides direct supervision for all HBOT treatments
• Functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by the facility
• Follow(s) established care standards, procedures, guidelines and protocols and gives specific patient care directions to patients, families, nursing and other staff when appropriate
• Serves on Advisory Committee established at the program
• Reviews patient records and reports in the interest of promoting quality care
• Attends medical staff meetings and provides guidance for policies established for the program
• Acts as an intermediary on issues with other physicians and clinicians at the facility
• Assists the director with resolution of issues
• Reviews and evaluates patient satisfaction, process improvement plans, and productivity data
• Supports hyperbaric oxygen safety measures
• Attends wound care/hyperbaric training programs, seminars, and staff meetings
• Performs competency testing on physician/staff who operate the hyperbaric chamber
• Participates in events for community outreach and education regarding department services
• Participates in marketing activities designed to promote program growth
• Competencies and skills are Clear Communication (written & verbal), Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs, able to withstand Crisis Situations
  Customer Service skills to Patients, Team Members & Visitors
