Endocrinology, Division Director
A highly regarded medical school that is dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking a Division Director, Endocrinology. The level of appointment will be commensurate with experience.
The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism has active clinical and research programs, as well as, a fully-accredited fellowship program. Areas of special interest currently include: hormonal changes related to aging, medical management of patients undergoing bariatric surgery, sleep disorders associated with diabetes. This division is financially stable and is poised to undergo rapid growth under appropriate leadership.
The successful candidate should be accomplished in their area of expertise and have demonstrated leadership skills, board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Endocrinology and should have a substantial background in clinical or laboratory research.
This excellent opportunity is set in a family oriented Midwest metro area. Residents enjoy a wide array of recreational, cultural and educational activities. Excellent public and private schools serve the area.
