The Department of Neurology & Psychiatry at an institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service, is seeking a distinguished physician-scientist to serve as the Director of this highly regarded Vascular Neurology Institute.
The candidate must be a funded senior investigator with an MD or MD/PhD and board certified in neurology as well as vascular neurology (stroke and neurocritical care and/or neurointerventional neurology). Current or past NIH funding is desirable. The candidate must have an excellent track record of research and publications, consistent with appointment at the rank of professor with tenure. The successful candidate will provide clinical care, teaching and research, as well as mentorship of junior faculty and residents.
Located in a thriving Midwest metropolitan area.
