Community Teaching Hospital and a Major Teaching Affiliate in Fairfield County is seeking a Program Director/Division Director. The program is supported by a large employed Hospitalist practice, including Nocturnists. Outpatient resident experiences are based at a local FQHC and elective experiences. This individual will oversee and organize the activities of the education program. This includes selecting and supervising the faculty and other program personnel in the institution and monitoring appropriate resident supervision. They will also serve as the key contact and responsible person linking the institution’s GME leadership and infrastructure with the training program; participate in a detailed, periodic program review by an institutional internal review committee and oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education in all sites that participate in the program. · Breakdown of the role: 50% Program Director, 20-30% clinical practice (ideally inpatient experience), 10-20% Administrative workload

· Reports to the Chair, Department of Medicine

· One Associate Program Director, 2 Assistant Program Directors and other faculty reports to this individual
