A community hospital near the border of New Hampshire is actively seeking an Associate Medical Director for their Hospitalist program.


Practice Duties

Duties include focusing on quality and efficiency measures including Joint Commission quality measures, timely discharges, and observations of the length of stay. Timely submission of encounter forms, b) response to Hospitals? clinical documentation queries c) participation in billing company?s reviews of appropriate coding and compliance, d) providing timely and accurate dictation, e) adhering to program protocols including paging protocols and scheduling guidelines, and d) adhering to hospital formularies, clinical protocols and other program and hospital initiatives including length of stay management and timely discharges.


About the opportunity

  • 12 hours per month performing Assistant Medical Director duties
  • 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Average patient census 12-16 per day
  • No procedures
  • EPIC EMR
  • 3-day Hospitalist and 1 nocturnist per rotation
  • 157-bed non-profit community hospital
