Locum Source Staffing is working with an Elderly (PACE) facility that is looking for a locum to perm Medical Director. This position is full time Monday-Friday, and has both clinical and administrative duties.

Dates:
June 6, 2022 – ongoing

Schedule:
Monday – Friday

Position purpose:
The Medical Director provides general medical direction and supervision of the medical aspects of participant care. The Medical Director is responsible for the delivery of participant care, clinical outcomes, and oversight of the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The Medical Director is responsible for the development and maintenance of medical policies and procedures/standards and protocols. The Medical Director provides direction and supervision to related Primary Care Providers (PCPs). The Medical Director provides leadership and guidance to the program colleagues and providers in the local community. Requirements:
Active North Carolina license
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Board Certified in Geriatrics – preferred
CDS, DEA, & BLS
1 years of experience with frail or elderly population
Previous supervisory experience
