There is an opportunity in Colorado for a maternal & fetal medicine physician starting in August for a locum tenens position. Candidates must have a state license and a clean background. The locum has the option of doing strictly consultative care without night call or deliveries, based primarily in one facility or another, providing consultative services to community ob-gyns and hospitalists. Experience with pre-natal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetics and have good interpersonal skills; fetal echo not required but welcome. Candidates can also provide consultative care but also inpatient coverage of maternal transports, high risk deliveries, with night call. Ideal candidate for this should enjoy maternal critical care, complex OB procedures and teaching house staff. The schedule would be one 24-hour shift per week (an office day followed by a night shift as a hospitalist) in addition to a second 12-hour shift.
