1 full time locums tenens needed starting ASAP
The hospital is a 315 bed specialty care facility serving Upper Michigan. The site is scheduled by the Chief at the local level and follows the standard Sound model of 7on/7off with a morning census of approximately 12-15 patients.
This is an excellent regional hospital with approx 25,000 ER visits per year.
The Sound team is comprised of a stable team of 10 hospitalists with midlevel support and a dedicated hospitalist RN. That translates into 4 day rounders, 2 day midlevels, 1 overnight rounder along with 1 night midlevel.
This site has full subspecialist support and no procedures are required. Marquette boasts everything a good sized town has to offer; good restaurants, shopping and is well known for its outdoor activities.
Both sites require BE/BC IM (no FP cannot be considered), active unrestricted MI license, active ACLS and team players. Full time availability is strongly preferred.
