Medcare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist to provide locums coverage in Tarboro, North Carolina.

Coverage Needed:

(7a shifts – procedures are not required)

DECEMBER

12/23 – 7a & 7p

12/25 – 7a & 7p

12/27 – 7a

Details:

• Inpatient Only
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Procedures preferred but not required: Intubations, central venous line placement, arterial line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Required to be on-site
• Avg Total Inpatient Census: 35-45
• Avg # of patients/day/provider: 12-15
• Avg # of admissions/day: 6
• Avg # of admissions/night: 6
• ICU/Critical Care Duties (6 beds)
• Responsible for responding to codes
