VISITING PHYSICIANS ASSOCIATION / US MEDICAL MANAGEMENT

The Palliative Care and Behavioral Health Medical Director is a licensed and credentialed physician who provides leadership and assist in the development of Visiting Physicians Association (VPA) palliative care and behavioral health program that will better serve our patients.

The program development is to ensure that the care provided by the VPA provider is reflective of the patient’s values, preferences and expectations. The palliative care and behavioral health medical directors implementation of evidence-based national guidelines and clinical algorithms accepted as “best practice” in the palliative care and behavioral health program will be used to ensure high quality care and cost accountability.
