Supervisory Physician Jackson, MS

We are looking for a Supervisory Physician/Medical Director Physician to oversee and actively participate in our multidisciplinary medical clinic in Jackson, MS.

We are seeking a Physician BC/BE in Pain, Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R), ER, or Pain-Anesthesiology to work with us part time with no nights or weekend coverage. This position is both Supervisory in capacity, overseeing the training, developing, and supervising the Midlevel providers (NP/PA’s) as well as evaluating and treating patients weekly.

This is a great opportunity for a Physician who looks to further utilize their skills, in collaboration with midlevel and complimentary providers, to help patients achieve health, wellness and improve functional outcomes. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to utilize a broad, multi-modal treatment approach. Being able to collaborate with midlevel and complementary alternative providers is essential.

We are a fully Integrated Pain Management Clinic, with a non-opioid and non-surgical care model that’s focused on lifetime health and wellness. Our clinic provides multiple levels of services focused on integrated care. We provide medical pain management, regenerative medicine, physical therapy, chiropractic care and acupuncture services.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative development for evidence-based evaluation and management of integrative physical medicine, rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, and functional medicine protocols
  • Developing standard protocols for patient evaluation, management, and treatment recommendations
  • Developing and supervising medical providers including mid-level providers and support medical staff
  • Delivery of higher level and complex injections, ie: occipital nerve blocks, carpal tunnel, facet, transforaminal, nerve blocks
  • Training and oversight for mid-level delivery of injection therapies
  • Overseeing treatment plans and Chart review (state and Medicare Compliance)
  • Communicate/Consult with Physicians/Midlevel providers regarding the patients’ needs

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE Physician in Pain, Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R), or Pain-Anesthesiology
  • Current/Valid License to practice Pain Management in MS
  • Current DEA number
  • Must meet CME requirements by the licensing agency or medical board
  • The Physician must practice at least 20 hrs per week in the State of Mississippi providing Direct Patient Care
  • The Physician will be responsible for obtaining all permits and licenses from the relevant regulatory agencies for the clinic location

Schedule:

  • 5-8 hrs a week, depending on the patient load/schedule

Salary (range):

  • $3k per month for Supervisory Position
  • Onsite delivery of care will be compensated per procedure completed
