A school of medicine in Florida is sponsoring a new ACGME Internal Medicine Residency Program in partnership with a regional medical center and is searching for an Associate Program Director! This 3-year IM residency program is accredited for 60 residents. The Associate Program Director (APD) who joins this leadership team will play a major role in the development of this new program by participating in the recruitment, selection, teaching, evaluation and mentorship of residents. The APD will also assist with the didactic curriculum, residency quality improvement/patient safety projects, and participate on applicable hospital committees - The APD will have an average of 20 hours/week for this.

The ideal candidate must be BC by the American Board of Internal Medicine and should have at least 2 years of experience as a faculty member. Candidates with less than 2 years faculty experience who have extensive teaching experience as either a fellow or chief resident may be considered. Competitive salary, CME allowance, and relocation support provided. This regional medical center is Joint Commission accredited 321-bed hospital that builds on a proud tradition of healthcare excellence in Osceola County, Florida.

Hospital is centrally located in Heart of Kissimmee only minutes from Orlando, St. Cloud, Celebration and Poinciana. The Kissimmee area has pleasing family oriented residential communities with quick access to multiple theme parks and numerous cultural opportunities. Both the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico beaches are just a short drive away.
