IM Physician Needed for Low-income Population
25 miles to Boston, Massachusetts
A community health center outside of Boston, MA is hiring BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time, permanent, and employed position. This is a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model. Physicians will have assigned patient panels that are capped at 1500 patients.
  • EMR: NextGen
  • Clinic Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8am - 8pm; Friday, 8am - 6pm; Saturday, 9am - 3pm.
  • Call: approx. 1 in 8 (telephone coverage only).
    Patients are admitted to 1 of 2 hospitals in Brockton, MA. Both hospitals provide 24/7 hospitalist coverage. Group takes call a week at a time.
  • PCP Schedule: 5 day work week and only 1 Saturday every 8 weeks.
    • 4 days/week: 8:15am - 5:30pm.
    • 1 day/week: 11am - 8pm.
    • 1 Saturday every 8 weeks: 9am - 3pm
Offering a competitive base salary with up to $10,000 per year in incentive bonuses. Employer provides the following insurances as part of their benefits package: Health, Dental, Malpractice, Short term and long term disability, and Life. Plus, earned time off, relocation costs, CME time and allowance, Hospital dues, and a pension.

Loan Repayment Options: The National Health Services Corps (NHSC) is offering a generous loan repayment program for a 2 year commitment. There is also a state loan repayment program that will pay up to $25,000 per year in loan repayment up to a total of $75,000. Physicians cannot receive NHSC and state loan repayment at the same time. Both processes are competitive and cannot guarantee awards.
