An inpatient health center near the Asheville, North Carolina Metropolitan Area is looking to add a Primary Care Physician to their team. Asheville is one of the state’s most populous cities. The area has a full four seasons and mild summers, with great opportunities for whitewater kayaking, making it a fantastic place for someone who loves year-round recreation. Asheville is also known for its vibrant music scene and street performances.

Position Overview

• Certification: MD/DO
• Title: Primary Care Physician
• Board Status: BC required (or truly BE in between re-certs)
• Residency/Training: Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Experience: Must have 2+ years exp (no new grads)
• Setting: Inpatient Setting

Compensation & Logistics

• Position Type: Permanent W2
• Availability: Full-Time
• Scheduling: Schedule 4x10
  • 8a-6p
  • 6p-7p is dedicated admin time compensated
  • 1 weekend/month (both sat & sun- don’t work two weekdays during that week- still 4 days/week))
  • Required to work 3 holidays/year
  • 1 of 3 holidays will be a major holiday (New Year’s/Christmas/Thanksgiving)
