Medical Director needed for Nursing Home in Bronx:

• Actively recruiting for a medical director to lead the clinical services for a large nursing home center.
• Medical director will be in charge of overseeing other staff doctors, NPs and PAs
• Coordinate and manage scheduling and on-call coverage
• Routine patient care, rehabilitation and skilled nursing services
• Long-term care focus: cardiac therapy, comfort/palliative care, Enteral Nutrition, Respiratory & Stroke therapy and management
• Significant focus on short-term rehab care, therapy available (cardiac, stroke, speech)

Internal or Family Medicine residency training

Fellowship training in Geriatrics and/or Hospice-Palliative Care

NYS License, DEA, CSR (active)

Prefer previous leadership in a primary care or nursing home capacity
