University of Rochester Primary Care Network is seeking a Medical Director to oversee UR Medicine's regional Primary Care practices and expansion sites.
In collaboration with affiliate hospital CEOs and CMOs, the regional medical director will work closely with leaders in the UR Medicine Primary Care Network (PCN), the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group (URMFG), and community-based, independent physicians in the region to promote regional Primary Care success, build relationships with regional physicians across our affiliates and with independent physicians, and create a more cohesive network of primary care.

Opportunity Highlights:
- UR faculty appointment
- Facilitate and encourage the teaching of medical students, resident physicians, nurse practitioner students, nursing students and other primary care health profession students in the region
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans for regional primary care in collaboration with the affiliate hospitals
- Provide mentorship and support for new primary care physicians so they feel part of the PCN and the affiliate hospital’s medical staff
