Locum Tenens Hospitalist opportunity in Colorado
This is a 300+ bed facility with a 20 bed ICU. We will have a 6 physician program, 2 day physicians and one in-house night physician for coverage. We are required to be in house 24/7. Day and night shifts are required of all physicians. This site will follow the standard model of 7 on/7 off schedule, Tues-Mon with a morning census of 12 – 15. subspecialist back-up is available.
It is a faith based facility so the patient population tends to be more indigent, patients with 2 or more co-morbidities, and very acutely ill. ER and FP residents are primary code responders but Sound Physicians hospitalists need to have active ACLS to be back-up code responders.
