Gastroenterology Physician - in Texas
StartDate: ASAP

An established health system affiliated with a well-regarded university in Texas seeks a Gastroenterologist to work in a traditional GI practice or as a Gastroenterology Hospitalist. Candidates must be board-certified or board-certified, and ERCP is preferred but not required.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Traditional GI Practice
  • Schedule includes 3 weeks in the clinic and 1 week providing inpatient consults
  • Clinic week will consist of 2 or 3 days of seeing patients in the outpatient clinic and the rest of the week performing procedures
  • GI Hospitalist
  • 7 days on/7 days off block scheduling
  • 24-hour block coverage - Providers are in house from 7 am to 5 pm and take call for the remaining time
Shared Highlights
  • General GI base salary of up to $640,000 + $20,000 performance bonus
  • Advanced GI base salary of up to $660,000 + $20,000 performance bonus + $50,000 per year advanced GI services stipend
  • Advanced GI total comp potential is $730,000 if doing ERCP
  • $20,000 signing bonus + relocation allowance + wRVU bonus
  • Providers have the potential to make up to $900,000 in total compensation
  • Work in a High-Performing Hospital (US News & World Report)
