MDstaffers is seeking a qualified Internal Medicine Hospitalist in Northwestern Tennessee. For more information, please apply or call (866) 90-STAFF.

Job Description

The Hospitalist job is located a couple of hours from Memphis and Nashville. There are several colleges and Universities around as well as excellent private and parochial schools. There are lakes and rivers with options of camping, fishing, water skiing, sailing, and canoeing. There is also no state income tax in Tennessee and the cost of living is low.

Details:

  • Permanent position
  • Scheduling – 12-hour days, 7 days on and 7 days off
  • Excellent support staff including physician specialists on call, ward staff, RN’s, LVN’s and work with various medical staff such as an anesthesiologist, surgeons, and nurses to provide patient care
  • Inpatient only
  • Create and recommend treatment plans
  • order tests for health care staff to administer
  • Respond to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • MD, DO
  • Current Tennessee medical license
  • BLS/ACLS
